Description

Inspired by the ancient art of Suminagashi, this design captures the serene, meditative process of marbling ink on water.

Practiced by Shinto priests in Japan as early as the 12th century, the beauty of this technique lies in its embrace of unpredictability - each pattern is completely unique, a reflection of the way ink and water naturally come together. It’s a practice of letting go, allowing human energy (“chi”) to flow with nature’s rhythm.

Care Instructions

For best results, machine wash your throw on a gentle or normal cycle in cold water (30°C/86°F) with similar colors.

To prevent shrinkage, we recommend air drying. However, if you're short on time, you can use a low heat setting in the dryer (below 40°C/104°F).

Sustainability

With every throw you purchase, we plant 6 trees.

In partnership with Ecologi, we carefully select tree-planting projects that not only restore habitats but also support local communities, creating lasting benefits for both people and nature.

Our blankets are made from 100% cotton, with 25% of that being recycled, and crafted through a made-to-order model that significantly reduces waste during production.

Your throw will arrive in eco-friendly packaging, without any unnecessary and fancy extras - part of our commitment at WARP to minimize waste and prevent overproduction.

Each blanket is OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified, ensuring it meets high safety and environmental standards.

Through our innovative water reclamation process, we can produce 2,000 blankets with just 30 gallons of water, conserving over 3,000 gallons in the process.

Additionally, 100% of the yarn, plastic, and paper waste from our facility is recycled, further supporting our dedication to sustainability at every step.
