HOW TO HANG A THROW

Step 1: Gather Your Materials

Make sure you have the following materials ready:

A length of carpet gripper
Screws
Drill bits
Raw plugs
Screw driver
Measuring tape
Spirit level
Your blanket
Iron
Gloves

Before you start iron your blanket to get rid of any creases.

To secure your blanket on the wall without causing strain, obtain a suitable length of carpet gripper. Many hardware stores carry these, and some may even cut it to your desired length.

Step 2: Measure, Align, and Secure

Double-check the dimensions of your blanket with your measuring tape and cut your carpet gripper to the desired length so that it just reaches the edges of the blanket.

We suggest removing the nails from the carpet gripper as when hung is not as secure as when screwed in.

Choose the desired location on the wall, use spirit level to ensure everything is straight, and then fix your carpet gripper securely into the wall using the drill bits, raw plugs and screws.

Be cautious when handling tools and sharp objects.

Also carpet gripper has small teeth that hook onto the blanket - these are sharp so it is advised to use gloves when handling.

Step 3: Hang Your Blanket

Once the carpet gripper is firmly secured, gently press your blanket onto the teeth of the gripper to prevent snagging or pulling of fibers.

Since the top is evenly secured, there's no need for any gripper at the bottom, allowing the blanket's bottom to hang freely for a relaxed look.

Should any threads pull from the blanket, a very small amount of white PVA glue can be used to fix the problem as it dries clear and will be on the reverse.

There you have it – enjoy your new wall feature!
