Our prints celebrate the artistry and craftsmanship behind our blankets, offering a window into the creative process.
Replicas of the original design plates used in our blanket production, these prints showcase how we have to transform each design into a work pixel art before they can be woven. Every tiny pixel represents a stitch in the final woven blanket, ensuring a flawless translation from digital design to textile.
Inspired by the ancient art of Suminagashi, this print captures the serene, meditative process of marbling ink on water. Practiced by Shinto priests in Japan as early as the 12th century, the beauty of this technique lies in its embrace of unpredictability—each pattern is completely unique, a reflection of the way ink and water naturally come together. It’s a practice of letting go, allowing human energy (“chi”) to flow with nature’s rhythm.
By owning this print, you’re not just adding art to your space—you’re bringing home a piece of the creative process that turns modern design into woven textiles, offering a graphic and impactful statement for any room.
